QR content

When you create a code, your form data is sent to QR Pattern’s same-origin PHP endpoint to validate and format the payload. The application does not save anonymous request contents, fetch your URLs, or send them anywhere. If you register and choose “Save design,” your saved design is encrypted at rest in QR Pattern’s database and tied to your account so you can resume it across devices.

Logo files and QR rendering stay in your browser until you choose EPS export. If you choose “Save design,” that design is stored in local browser storage on this device. You can delete saved designs from the studio. Account records include your email, sign-in timestamps, and security events such as source IP addresses for abuse prevention and administration. Avoid saving passwords or other sensitive content in a QR code.

Visitor analytics

QR Pattern uses Matomo, hosted at sabi.perfekt.net, to understand visits and improve the site. The tracker receives standard page-view and link-interaction analytics for this site (Matomo site ID 17). Matomo may use cookies or similar browser storage according to its configuration.

We do not use analytics to identify you by name, sell personal information, or add tracking redirects to QR codes. Your browser, network, and server logs may still be processed by the hosting and security systems needed to deliver the site.

Downloads and links

PNG, SVG, PDF, WebP and JPEG files are generated in your browser. EPS export sends the generated PDF to this site for conversion, including any embedded logo or content visible in the artwork. The converter deletes its temporary files after sending the EPS. A QR code containing a third-party URL will send a scanner to that URL when scanned; that destination’s privacy policy then applies.
